KayakNav provides an extra Bluetooth signal strength gauge to the left of the battery level.  This indicates the strength of the received Bluetooth [[Heart Rate]] signal.  It is shown here as BT with a blue outline representing zero signal strength (simulator mode).

KayakNav can pair with most BTE heart rate monitor devices. Once paired, it will remember the device and automatically use it when it is being worn within range of your device. Every minute, it scans for the heart rate device and connects automatically. Please contact support if your device is not recognised.

Your heart rate will be recorded each time the data is sampled and can be emailed at the end of your paddle. It can also be displayed as you paddle in a left-shifting Info Cell graph along with the beats per minute. The info cell also shows the details of the connected device.

This feature will not function in flight mode or if bluetooth is disabled or your heart rate device has not been paired with KayakNav.
