KayakNav uses 3 separate Sqlite databases internally:
- The Map Tile cache holds image files for all of your routes to speed up map rendering and reduce downloads.
- The Statistics Database holds paddle statistics Data Items until they can be extracted and emailed.
- The Route Database stores optimised and pre-calculated data for all of the loaded Routes.
These database start empty and will be cleared if you uninstall KayakNav then reinstall it.
The size of these databases is kept to an absolute minimum by clearing data wherever possible.
The application documents directory for KayakNav only holds temporary copies of KML, KMZ, GPX and CSV files.
