Double-tap the NorthPointer to switch between the map facing North and the map facing the direction of motion. The default is to face in the direction of motion so that the paddler generally travels from the bottom of the screen to the top.
The North Pointer also changes colour to indicate the GPS signal strength.
- Green - strong signal.
- Orange - fair signal.
- Red - poor signal (or simulation mode).
